1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Adulting.Ph ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Adulting.Ph provides step-by-step guides and tools for navigating government processes, personal finance, and other life tasks in the Philippines. The Service includes guide content, progress tracking, reminders, bookmarks, and an Ask Me concierge search feature.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • One account per person. Shared accounts are not permitted.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Adulting.Ph offers free and paid subscription tiers (Premium and Premium Plus).
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through SymphPay. There is no auto-renewal; you choose to renew each month.
  • Subscription benefits (extra reminder slots, badge progression) are active for 30 days from purchase.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for assistance.
  • If your subscription expires, extra features become read-only. Your data is not deleted.

5. OG Ninuno Program

The first 150 verified users receive the OG Ninuno tier, which includes permanent bonus features at no cost. This tier never expires and cannot be transferred.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute guide content without permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent tier limits.

7. Content & Disclaimer

Adulting.Ph is an informational resource, not an official government service. While we strive for accuracy, guide content may not always reflect the latest government policies, fees, or procedures. Always verify information with the relevant government agency before taking action.

We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from reliance on our guide content, including but not limited to missed deadlines, incorrect filings, or financial losses.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Adulting.Ph, including guide text, design, graphics, and code, is owned by Symph, Inc. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Symph, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cebu City, Philippines.
